THE CHANCELLOR’S AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED
ACHIEVEMENT
AS A CREATIVE TEACHER AND SCHOLAR
The purpose of the award is to recognize exceptional accomplishment as
both a teacher and a scholar by faculty members within the University. The award
is intended to reward outcomes, as opposed to process, in the career-defining
commitment to both teaching and creative activity that is the hallmark of the

open to all ranks of the faculty, including the faculty of Brite Divinity
School.
The awardee will be further recognized by permanent plaques, a small

all awardees. Additionally, a
photograph of each awardee will be hung in a prominent place in the TCU
library.
